Thursday night was a sell out success ! The fashion show held by Chloe James Lifestyle for our benefit was hugely popular! We are so grateful to Donna and Maria from the lovely shop in the High Street, the Cote Brasserie also in St Albans High Street, and The Salon St Albans for all the hard work that went into making the night a great success. We even had Annie Brewster, our Mayor from 2013/14, modelling some of the lovely outfits.
The raffle will be drawn on Monday, so for those of you who still would like a ticket please call the store on 01727843431, or call in at 12 the High Street this weekend, open from 9.30 to 6pm Saturday and 11 to 5pm Sunday. Lots of great prizes including a £200 makeover at The Salon St Albans!
A great review of the evening by someone who was there on the night can be found here http://stateofadress.com/chloe-james-catwalk-show/ Lots of lovely photos included, will post more when we have some too.
Huge thanks from all of us to all of you who participated in the evening, or bought a raffle ticket, we really do appreciate your support, it does make a world of difference to us and allows us to keep doing our vital work.
More news to come in the next few weeks, including another concert, a fantastic exhibition of the Stand Tall Get Snapped Project at St Albans Cathedral for two weeks over the World Aids Day period, a busking day on 06 December at the Clock Tower, a cabin in the Christmas Market in December, street collections, a market stall, so much more to come! Not forgetting of course the talented students from St Columbas College who are working on our behalf to raise funds for their Dragon’s Apprentice challenge this year, more about this here http://www.dragonsapprenticechallenge.com/
Thanks as ever for your support, keep watching this space for updates on the above events up to Christmas and into 2015 !

The busking event on Saturday was a resounding success having raised a wonderful sum for us despite the awful weather and the house (gazebo) being brought down as a finale !!
Huge thanks to the Trestle Arts Base and Denise Parsons for all her hard work getting the event going and also to all the talented musicians who so kindly gave their time and skill to make the event the success it was! We distributed lots of information and red ribbons too, rasing awareness of HIV in the City and beyond.
Here is a link to the latest news article, more photos to come of the day itself !
Thanks as ever for your ongoing support everyone,
The Crescent Team
